Kevin Ratcliffe was born on 12 November 1960 in Wales. Ratcliffe was renowned for his robust approach to the game and for being a tough tackler.
Ratcliffe made his debut for Everton in 1980. He went on to make 461 appearances for the club.
Ratcliffe was capped 59 times by Wales between 1981–1993.
Won the 1984 FA Cup Final, the Football League Championship in 84/85 and 86/87 and the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup 1984/85.
