Haaland started his professional career at his hometown club Bryne in2016, before moving to Molde the following year where he spent two impressive seasons.
In 2019 Haaland moved to Red Bull Salzberg, where he won two Austrian Bundesliga titles and the Austrian Cup. Here he became the first teenager to score in five consecutive Champions League games.
His exquisite finishing ability caught the eye of many top teams, including Manchester United and Juventus. However at the end of 2019, Haaland signed a four and half year contract with German club Borussia Dortmund.
Haaland finished his 2019–20 campaign with 44 goals in 40 club appearances across all competitions played for both Salzburg and Dortmund.
In 2020, he subsequently won the Golden Boy award.
In 2020-21, Haaland was integral in Dortmund's DFB-Pokal win, he won the Bundesliga Player of the Season award and finished as the top scorer of the Champions League.
On July 1, 2022, Haaland joined Manchester City on a five-year contract for a fee of over £51 million.
Haaland made an instant impact in England, scoring 20 goals in his first 13 appearances for Man City. He became the quickest player in Premier League history to score three hat-tricks, doing so in just eight league games. In his first season with the club, Erling broke the Premier League record for most goals in a single season.
HIs goals were instrumental in Manchester City's historic treble season in 2022-23, winning the Champions League, Premier League and FA Cup.
A prolific goalscorer, Haaland is recognised for his pace, athleticism and finishing ability.
