Scott Brown was born on June 25, 1985. Brown started his career with Hibernian, breaking into their first team in 2002. He signed for Celtic in 2007, for a fee of £4.4 million.
Brown has lead Celtic to win 8 Scottish championships, 4 Scottish Cups, and 5 Scottish League Cups, including captaining the club to 7 consecutive championships since 2011–12, and successive trebles in 2016–17 and 2017–18.
Brown is a true fan favourite at the club. He is known for his dynamic box-to-box, no-nonsense style of play.
Brown made his debut for Scotland in 2005. He has since played 55 times for his country, scoring four goals. Since 2013, Brown has captained the squad.
