The Croatian caught the eye of Spanish giants and in 2012, Luka made the move Real Madrid.

Luka's impact was immediate, playing a pivotal role in helping the team win La Decima shortly after joining the club.

Luka has currently won 24 trophies with Madrid, including five Champions League trophies, three La Liga titles, two Copa del Reys and five Club World Cup titles.

In 2018, Modrić became the first Croatian player to win the UEFA Men's Player of the Year Award, The Best FIFA Men's Player and the Ballon d'Or.
