Aged 14, Thiago Alcantara joined Spanish giants FC Barcelona from Kelme CF academy. Four years later, Thiago made his first team debut at 18 against Mallorca.
During his time at the club, Thiago won multiple accolades including four La Liga titles, the UEFA Champions League and the FIFA Club World Cup.
In 2013, Thiago signed a four-year deal with Bundesliga club Bayern Munich, for a €25 million fee.
In Germany, Thiago won 16 trophies including the Bundesliga seven times in a row! In his final season he helped the club win the UEFA Champions League as part of a continental treble.
In 2020, Thiago signed for Premier League club Liverpool FC in a transfer worth an initial £20 million. Thiago started for Liverpool in the 2022 FA Cup Final, beating Chelsea in a 6–5 victory on penalties after the game ended 0–0 in extra time.
Since making his international debut in 2011, Thiago has represented Spain at UEFA Euro 2016, the 2018 FIFA World Cup, and UEFA Euro 2020.
