Juventus have won a record 29 league titles, more than any other club in the history of Italian football.

In 1985, under the management of Giovanni Trapattoni, Juventus became the first European club to win all three of UEFA’s club competitions; the UEFA Cup, the Cup Winners’ Cup, and the European Cup.

Between 1994 and 2004 the club dominated Italian football, and enjoyed one of the most fruitful periods in their history, winning five Scudettos and the Champions League.

In 2001 “The Old Lady” splashed out €41million to sign the brilliant Lazio star Pavel Nedved. While a Juventus player, midfielder Nedved won the prestigious Balon D’Or in 2003, becoming only the second Czech player in history to land the award.

After joining Juve from AC Milan in 2011, playmaker Andrea Pirlo won four Serie A titles, and was named Serie A Footballer of the Year, in 2012 and 2013.

Nicknamed ‘The Architect’, Pirlo is the fifth most capped player in the history of Italian football.

Juventus are officially the most successful side Italy has ever produced, and with the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo in the summer of 2018, that looks set to continue.
