This October we worked in partnership with our Exclusive signee, Jonny Wilkinson to help raise funds for a charity close to his heart.
We announced that for every Jonny Wilkinson signed product that was sold during the whole of October, we would be donating 10% to Tiny Lives Trust .
We are extremely happy to announce that through this campaign we have been able to raise an incredible £533 for the charity! The money will go towards caring for premature and sick newborn babies and their families in the Neonatal Unit based in Ward 35 of the Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle.
The Tiny Lives Trust is a registered charity that supply items, fund new research, fund staff specialists and offer support to the RVI Neonatal Unit. The Neonatal Unit is the Regional Centre of Excellence and provides the care for premature newborn babies, as well as sick newborn babies who require surgery, cardiac input or respiratory support. Tiny Lives is an independent charity where all of their funds are raised by generous supporters, as they do not receive any government funding. Tiny Lives supports more than 750 babies annually, and needs to raise £350,000 a year to maintain their critical services.
